Durham Station Renovation Project
Welcome to the GoDurham - Durham Station Renovation Project webpage!
We are excited to announce that Durham Station is entering a new chapter with major renovations aimed at better serving our riders and the wider community. This renovation project represents a significant investment in the future of public transit in Durham.
Over the next 18 to 24 months, you will notice ongoing construction activity throughout the site as we enhance infrastructure, improve accessibility, and increase overall comfort for riders and visitors.
This webpage is designed to keep you informed throughout this massive undertaking. We will provide updates on construction, project milestones, service adjustments, and rider resources, ensuring you are informed every step of the way.
While construction is in progress, we are dedicated to minimizing disruptions to your daily commute. We appreciate your patience and support as we work towards creating a more modern and welcoming transit hub for everyone passing through Durham Station.
Kiss and Ride Relocation
On Monday, June 16, the Kiss and Ride location at Durham Station was removed to make way for ongoing construction as part of the station renovation project.
To ensure continued access for riders and visitors, the Kiss and Ride area has been temporarily relocated to a designated area, upstairs on Willard St. Signage has been posted throughout the station to help guide riders to the new location.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve Durham Station for all.
