The new bus stop off Glenn School Road replaces the previous stop on East Geer Street near the Walmart. The site averages more than 185 boardings a day.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 3, the GoTriangle and GoDurham bus stop at the Streets at Southpoint mall will move from next to the movie theater to a new location on Renaissance Parkway.
These actions follow GoDurham’s announcement Friday that, also effective Monday, it will suspend service after 9:30 p.m. as the agency strives to lessen risks posed by the coronavirus, or COVID-19
Effective Monday, March 23, GoDurham plans to continue running its normal routes and daytime schedules but will end all service at 9:30 p.m.
