DURHAM N.C. – GoDurham is seeking applications from qualified individuals living in Durham to be voluntary members of its Community Transportation Advisory Group, also known as CTAG. CTAG is a part of GoDurham’s continued efforts for public involvement and will operate as an additional conduit for obtaining input, communicating to the community and encouraging public support for transit.
CTAG offers an opportunity for community stakeholders to provide feedback, suggest improvements and recommendations on plans, policies and services offered by GoDurham. CTAG will be composed of up to nine members (appointed by GoDurham) with each member reflecting GoDurham’s service areas and creating a broad, inclusive, regional and diverse representation to increase the reach and effectiveness of CTAG’s purpose.
“GoDurham is excited to offer this new opportunity for the public to get involved in local transit,” said General Manager of GoDurham, Doug Middleton. “We receive valuable feedback from our website, public meetings, pop-ups and community events and look forward to working with CTAG members to continue make improvements and service changes that best suit the Durham community.”
