[lead]Art of Cool and GoDurham encourage concert attendees to forego congested parking decks and driving downtown by using transit to attend this year’s events.[/lead]
GoDurham and GoTriangle are sponsoring the Art of Cool Festival held in downtown Durham on Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29, 2018. From 6 p.m. until 1 a.m. GoDurham will operate Route 10 and GoTriangle will operate Route 700, providing service every 20 minutes into downtown Durham. This will enable Triangle residents and visitors to utilize three area park-and-rides to access the festival.
Regional Transit Center

- Requires $4.50 for a GoTriangle day pass*
- 25 minute trip to downtown Durham
Parkway Plaza
- 4201 University Drive
- A free, 37-space park-and-ride lot
- Requires $2.00 for a GoDurham day pass*
- 30 minute trip to downtown Durham
Patterson Place
- McFarland Dr and Witherspoon Blvd
- A free, 77-space park-and-ride
- Requires $2.00 for a GoDurham day pass*
- 40 minute trip to downtown Durham
*Park-and-ride users will need exact change to purchase passes on the bus. Passes can be purchased in advanced at Durham Station, the Regional Transit Center or online at gotriangle.org/fares-and-passes.
