GoDurham ACCESS is the City of Durham and Durham County’s paratransit service, offering transportation for eligible residents with disabilities or mobility challenges.
We are a vital link to independence, connecting people to essential destinations and community life.
GoDurham ACCESS includes a range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of our community.
GoDurham ACCESS (ADA Paratransit Service)
The Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act regulations require GoDurham, as a public entity that operates a fixed-route system, to provide complementary paratransit services to individuals with disabilities (that is, service that is comparable to the level of service provided to individuals without disabilities who use the fixed-route system).
GoDurham ACCESS provides ADA paratransit service for eligible riders to all locations within the City of Durham and to any location outside the City that is three-quarters of a mile of any fixed-route bus route operated by GoDurham.
