GoDurham strictly prohibits smoking at Durham Station.
The Durham Station Transportation Center is a smoke-free facility, in accordance with the City of Durham’s ordinance prohibiting smoking and vaping in public buildings and grounds. This includes all indoor and outdoor areas of the station, such as the platforms and concourses.
Effective, Monday April 7, 2025, all smoking will be banned from the Durham Station Transportation Center. This means smoking is completely prohibited and action will be taken to ensure the ban is strictly followed.
