What GoDurham riders need to know during inclement weather

Safety is always Priority One at GoDurham, and when winter weather is in the forecast, the agency’s adverse weather plan is activated to maintain the well-being of riders and employees.

To the degree possible, GoDurham will continue to operate all of its bus routes during adverse weather, but sometimes service has to be curtailed or discontinued because of safety reasons. GoDurham General Manager Doug Middleton will decide what level of service is safe.

Information about altered routes or closings will be posted at godurhamtransit.org or is available by calling 919-485-RIDE. More tips on how to navigate winter weather events are available at godurhamtransit.org/weather.Information also can be found on GoDurham’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Additionally, customers can track the location of GoDurham buses in real time by downloading the TransLoc Rider App. They also can sign up to receive alerts at bit.ly/godurhamalerts.
