Some transit agencies ending service early tonight, announce start delays for Friday, Feb. 19

UPDATE: GoDurham is running full service on time this morning.

 

FEB. 18, 2021 – Because of the possibility of ice forming on roads overnight, GoCary, GoTriangle, Chapel Hill Transit and their demand-response teams have announced they will not start service until at least 9 a.m. Friday.

 

GoWake Access also plans to delay service until at least 9 a.m. GoRaleigh plans to provide regular service Friday.

 

In addition, Chapel Hill Transit is planning to end service tonight at 7:30 p.m. and GoCary at 8 p.m.

 

The agencies will update customers early Friday on whether service will be further delayed. Customers should check agency websites or Twitter accounts or call 919-485-7433 before heading to a bus stop Friday.
