The Durham Station Transportation Center is a smoke-free facility, in accordance with the City of Durham’s ordinance prohibiting smoking and vaping in public buildings and grounds. This includes all indoor and outdoor areas of the station, such as the platforms and concourses.

GoDurham Microtransit Options Launch October 21st, 2024
Riders can select shuttles to East & North Durham Destinations!
DURHAM, N.C. – On October 21, GoDurham launches a new Microtransit Program which will allow riders to take shuttles to and from East and North Durham destinations.
This door-to-door, same-day ride service will provide more flexible, convenient transit options in the City’s underserved areas.
We are excited to announce the realignment of Route 5 along Lakewood Ave on September 30th, 2024.
After much labor and intensive work due to the area's geology, the installation of sanitary sewage has officially been completed.
Route 5 will return to its regular alignment, as presented on all GoDurham resources, effective Monday, September 30th, 2024. This marks the completion of the road work and the resumption of normal bus services, restoring the comfort and regularity you are accustomed to.
