1. Purpose

    

The Transit app is a mobile application that provides real-time public transportation information, allowing users to track buses in real- time!

The App allows users to track buses, plan trips, receive service alerts, and see upcoming departure times for various transit options in their area.

The Transit app provides:

All GoDurham Operations has been canceled on Wednesday, January 22nd due to the current road conditions. 

All service will resume at 10 AM on Thursday, January 23rd.

GoDurham Microtransit Options Launch October 21st, 2024

Riders can select shuttles to East & North Durham Destinations! 

DURHAM, N.C. – On October 21, GoDurham launches a new Microtransit Program which will allow riders to take shuttles to and from East and North Durham destinations. 

This door-to-door, same-day ride service will provide more flexible, convenient transit options in the City’s underserved areas.

2024 North Carolina State Fair

We are excited to announce the realignment of Route 5 along  Lakewood Ave on September 30th, 2024.

After much labor and intensive work due to the area's geology, the installation of sanitary sewage has officially been completed.

Route 5 will return to its regular alignment, as presented on all GoDurham resources, effective Monday, September 30th, 2024. This marks the completion of the road work and the resumption of normal bus services, restoring the comfort and regularity you are accustomed to.

GoDurham's Hybrid Bus Fleet has recently faced challenges, which have significantly affected the level at which we deliver service. 

We are exploring the possibility of a leased bus fleet, a solution we are confident will effectively mitigate these issues.

GoDurham is working diligently to combat fleet conditions and keep our passengers in communication as challenges may occur.
